Ms. Sahney has over 20 years of businesses leadership in the successful commercialization of disruptive innovation. She is President and CEO of Hyalex Orthopaedics, a synthetic cartilage company in Lexington, MA where she has raised over $33m in venture capital. She serves as a mentor, angel investor, and board member for several start-ups. Additionally, she serves on the Board of MassMEDIC and the University of Michigan Technology Transfer Office.
Previously as the SVP and General Manager of the Ear, Nose, and Throat and Gynecology divisions at Smith & Nephew, she built and led two high-growth businesses with full global P&L responsibility for more than $200m. She also led the successful sale of the Gynecology division to Medtronic in 2016 for over $350m. Prior to Smith and Nephew, she was the President and co-founder of Myomo Inc., an award-winning MedTech company in the neuro-robotics space which went public in 2017 on the NYSE. She graduated from the MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) program with an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an MS in mechanical engineering. Additionally, she holds an MS from Stanford University in design and a BSE from the University of Michigan.
